Mail person can leave box at your door step.....opportunity for anyone to steal your important parcel. it happen to me box was left at my door step, and thankful my son came home and brought the box in. i was sleeping all day after nightshift. i went to post office few days after to express my concerns and postmaster explain this is their policy and practices . the information is not related unless you ask question. 2 ways of doing it; 1. you can write " no drop off box please" 2. pay additional $1.50 for signature require. requirement to ask for signature upon delivery is worth spending $1.50 extra. remember Expedited Priority Post with Tracking does not include signature require unless you ask for it and pay small additional fee. PS in the box left on the step were items i had been negotioning for long period of time.
