Roseville, California Law Enforcement Collectors Show Doug Messer 49′er Public Safety and Military Collectors Show Saturday, February 20, 2016 9am-1pm Roseville Veterans Memorial Hall, Roseville, California The 21st annual Doug Messer 49′er Public Safety and Military Collectors Show will be held at the Roseville Veterans Memorial Hall, Roseville, CA, on Saturday, February 20, 2016. Roseville is located 18 miles east of Sacramento on Interstate 80. Show hosts are Mike Lynch, Brian Smith and Phil Jordan. The show is a fund raiser for the Concerns of Police Survivors (COPS) and is sponsored by the International Police Association (IPA) Region 29 and the Roseville American Legion, Alyn W Butler – Post 169. There are 47, eight foot by 30 inch display tables available at $30.00 each. To ensure your requested table placement, reserve your table early. Walk-in donations are $5.00 per person. There is a limit of two tables per person, unless the show does not sell out. Show time is 0900 -1400. Table holders only setup starts at 0800. Post Auxiliary Unit 169 will provide food and beverages for sale. Awards will be presented to the top three displays. Displays are limited to two eight foot display tables, on one side, or corresponding space, from the floor to a height of not more than eight feet.     Halton Region Ontario Police Day 10am-2pm

    Halton Region Police Day (10:00am to 2:00pm) As part of building effective partnerships with members of Halton Region's diverse and growing community, the Halton Regional Police Service of Ontario holds numerous special public events throughout the year. The events are designed to appeal to people of all ages and interests and to enhance understanding between the public and the police. Popular among these is Police Day, held annually on the second Saturday in May at Police Headquarters. This year's Police Day will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2015 (rain or shine) from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. The theme for this year is "Community Mobilization." Police Day is also Prescription Drug Drop-Off Day and a table will be setup so members of the community can drop off their expired and potentially dangerous prescriptions. Entrance to show at rear of building. Admission open to current/retired Police, Fire, Military and known collectors. ID may be required for entry. Table set-up begins at 0830.
