Roseville, California ' Doug Messer 49'er' Public Safety and Military Collectors Show Saturday, February 23, 2019 Roseville Veterans Memorial Hall, Roseville The 24th annual Doug Messer 49′er Public Safety and Military Collectors Show will be held at the Roseville Veterans Memorial Hall, Roseville, CA, on Saturday, February 23, 2019, from 0900 to 1400. The show is named in memory of Doug Messer, one of the original hosts of the show, who passed away in October 2009. Show hosts are Mike Lynch, Brian Smith and Phil Jordan. The show is a fundraiser for the Ranger Foundation, the California Law Enforcement Historical Society (CLEHS), and the Concerns of Police Survivors (COPS). The show is sponsored by the International Police Association (IPA) Region 29 and the Roseville American Legion, Alyn W Butler – Post 169. There are 47, eight foot by 30 inch display tables available for collectors at $30.00 each. Display tables are $15.00 each. To ensure your requested table placement, reserve your table early. Free Admission. Table holders only setup starts at 0800. American Legion Post 169 Boy Scout Troop 11 will provide food and beverages for sale. Awards will be presented to the top four displays. The Fairfield Inn at 1910 Taylor Road, Roseville, 916-772-3500, is the host hotel. To reach the Fairfield Inn, take the Eureka Road exit, number 105A, off Interstate 80. Show hosts Mike Lynch, Brian Smith and Phil Jordan will host a pre-show gathering at the Fairfield Inn, 1st floor Conference room, on Friday night before the show from 1700 to 1830. The Roseville Veterans Memorial Hall is located at 110 Park Drive, Roseville. From Sacramento, take I-80 East toward Reno, then take Douglas Blvd West exit, number 103B, off Interstate 80. Proceed west on Douglas Blvd, turn right on South Lincoln St, left on Sutter Av, left on Park Drive to the Veterans Memorial Hall.

    Space Coast (Titusville, FL) Patch Show

    The 32nd Annual “Space Coast” Patch Show will be Saturday, January 26, 2019 at the Elks Lodge, 2955 Columbia Blvd., Titusville, FL. Steve and Karen Bridges host the show. This is your opportunity to buy-sell or trade law enforcement patches and badges, as well as other Police or Fire memorabilia. Seventy-five tables are available for $20 each before December 31. After that tables will be $25. Early reservations are recommended because tables are offered on a “first come” basis. Each year the show is a sellout. Please send payment with your reservation. Set-up begins at 8am and the show will run from 9am until 3pm. There is a spirited display contest and awards are presented for the best displays. Reproductions must be marked. The Elks Lodge will offer lunch, and there are numerous fast food restaurants in the immediate area. There are two hotels for the show they are the Holiday Inn Titusville/Kennedy Space Center 4715 Helen Hauser Blvd. A $109.00 rate (plus tax), this rate will be valid January 25-27, 2019 and the cutoff date is December 25, 2018. The second is the Fairfield Inn and Suites located at 4735 Helen Hauser Blvd. and the phone is (321) 385-1818 and the rate is $179.00 per night with 2 Queen beds. Both hotels include a hot/cold breakfast. Early reservations are recommended as there is another event in Titusville at the same time. Titusville is close to Kennedy Space Center and other central Florida attractions. The Police Hall of Fame, which moved from Miami to Titusville, is now open and is a well-done attraction promoting Law Enforcement and has some fabulous patches and other memorabilia on display. Southeastern Patch collectors show Saturday November 3, 2018 Monroe County Conference Center 475 Holiday Circle Forsyth Georgia Contact: Elrod Rosser The Fifth Annual “Southeast Regional” Police Collectors Show will be Sat., Nov. 3 from 9 am to 2 pm at the Monroe County Convention Center, 475 Holiday Circle, Forsyth, Ga. Elton Rosser, Vince Mixon, Jay Edwards and Jeremy Henry will host it. Admission is $5. Fifty-fi ve tables are available for $25 each. The hall will open at 7:30 am for exhibitor setup. The convention center is located just off Interstate 75 at Exit 186. It is about an hour south of Atlanta. There will be an award for the best display. No food will be available at the convention center. However, there are numerous restaurants in the immediate area. A host hotel will be announced soon. It is home to the Georgia Public Safety Training Academy that trains all police offi cers and fi refi ghters in the state. Many hotels off er law enforcement discounts.     St Louis Gateway Police Collectors Show

    The 33rd Annual “Gateway” Police Collectors Show will be Sat. Oct. 27 from 8 am to 2 pm at the Holiday Inn-South County Center, 6921 South Lindbergh Blvd., Saint Louis, Mo. Frank Selvaggio, Bob Shockey and Don Magruder will host it. Admission is $5. Seventy eight-foot tables are available for $25 each. The hall will open at 7 am for exhibitor setup. Tables will only be reserved when payment is received. The Holiday Inn South County Center is offering a room rate of $120 a night plus tax. The hotel is located on Highway 55 and South Lindbergh Boulevard. It is very close to the Highway 55 and Highway 270/255 interchange.   17. I had a request from RIck Schoffield of the Scarborough Historical Society to identify the Police Chiefs of the defunct Scarborough force. Does anyone have this history? The Scarborough Historical Society promotes, preserves and stimulates an interest in the history of Scarborough, Ontario. The SHS has grown to be one of the largest and most active historical societies in Canada since its founding in 1956. We collect and share the history of Scarborough from its earliest recorded history to the experiences of our newest residents.

This event will be held on Saturday May 19 it will be held at the Double Tree Hotel located at 1111 Lakeside Ave Cleveland, Ohio 44114. Table holders can arrive as early as 8am- for setup. Host of the show is John Kasinecz (John has been in and out of the hospital for 3 years with health conditions, one of them causing blindness but is feeling much better now) Hotel Reservations Rooms are available at the Hampton Inn located at 1460 East 9th St. Cleveland, Ohio 44114. The Honor Our Fallen Police Memorabilia Show - St. Louis, MO Sunday March 18, 2018 1pm - 5pm The Honor Our Fallen Police Memorabilia Show sponsored by the International Law Enforcement Educators and Trainers Association and NRA Law Enforcement Activities Division will be held on March 18, 2018 at 1 PM and ending at 5PM in the Pegram Room of the St. Louis Union Station Doubletree Hotel, 1820 Market Street, St. Louis, MO 63103. As we have done in the past we will hold a silent auction as part of the show. A donation of $5.00 will be requested for anyone attending the show. Those requesting a table will be asked to make a donation of $15.00. Set up for table holders will begin at noon. Please reserve your table early as table space may be limited.
