      “Dallas /Fort Worth Area” Law Enforcement Collectibles Show will be Saturday, June 2, 2018 at the Waxahachie Civic Center, 2000 Civic Center Ln., Waxahachie, TX. Brandon and Nicole Gomez will host the show. This is your opportunity to buy, sell, and trade law enforcement, fire/ems, and corrections patches and badges, as well as other related memorabilia.
      *DISPLAY CONTEST* Prizes will be awarded for the following categories:
      Best of Show
      Best Badge Display 
      Best Patch Display
      *PATCH DROP* at 1:00 PM – Drop a patch in the box along with an attached business card. A drawing will be held at 1:00 PM. Winner takes the contents of the patch drop box.
      *Door Prizes Throughout the Day*
      70 8’ tables are available for $20 each. Early reservations are recommended due to tables being offered on a “first come” basis. Please send payment with your reservation. Set up to begin at 7:00 AM, and the show will run from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
      There are numerous fast food and casual dining restaurants in the Waxahachie Area. Waxahachie is located just 30 minutes south of Downtown Dallas, 1 hour north of the Texas Rangers Hall of Fame and Research Center and 45 minutes southeast of Six Flags Over Texas. There are numerous hotels in the immediate and surrounding areas, including two right next door to the Waxahachie Civic Center.

      The Annual Mesa-Phoenix Law Enforcement Collectibles Show will be Sat., June 2 from 9 am to 3 pm at the Windmere Conference Center and Resort Hotel, 5750 E. Main St., Mesa, Ariz. Jim and Shirley Ward will host it.
      Admission is $5. Kids are admitted free. Fifty-five tables are available for $40 each and must be reserved and paid for in advance.
      The hall will open at 8 am for exhibitor setup. The previous shows were sellouts. Early table reservations are recommended.
      Special room rates are available at the hotel. Call the hotel and mention the police collectors rate on (800) 888-3561 or (480) 985-3600.

      The location for the 2018 National Police Collectors Show will be held at The Royal Plaza Trade Center in Marlboro, MA. This location has hosted two previous National shows. The first in 1995 with 262 tables that had an estimated 1700 collectors attend and then again in 2000 with 347 tables they drew an estimate of 2200 collectors the convention center. The 2018 show will be held on Friday July 27th, Saturday July 28th and Sunday July 29th. Set up is scheduled to be 13:00 - 17:00 on Friday. Show hours are 09:00 - 17:00 Saturday and 09:00 - 15:00 Sunday. Tables are the standard eight (8) foot rectangular style. General show admission is $6.00 per day. Table holder  Pre-registration will begin in June 2017. Table cost will be $75.00 each (This includes one table holder and assistant) that is reserved and paid for by December 31, 2017. After that date, table cost will be $85.00 each.

      On Saturday, Sept. 1, 2018 the Vacation Capital Police Collectors Show will be held at the Rosen Plaza Hotel in Orlando, Florida. This show draws collectors from all across the USA from as far away as Hawaii and California.
      The Rosen Plaza is a 5 star hotel right on International Drive in Orlando. Just minutes from Disney and many other major tourist attractions. Make it a family getaway over the long Labor Day weekend.

      Many thanks to all that participated last Saturday. Once the bills were paid I was able to donate 100% of the door and table fees to support a summer camp for kids. A check of $530. was donated to purchase a new septic pump for the camp. Now will be planning the October show. Thanks to all - Wayne
